The hedge fund industry in Japan is experiencing an unprecedented period of growth. Many foreign investors are using hedge funds to invest in the Japanese capital markets. While many attractive opportunities exist, it can be challenging for foreign investors to identify the best strategies and conduct due diligence, due to language barriers and cultural differences.
On December 1, 2022 (Thursday), Tricor Japan and Japan's Financial Services Agency (JFSA) will provide an overview of hedge funds in Japan, including its equity and derivatives markets, recent stock exchange reforms, as well as relevant regulations and tax matters.
FIA Japan is a Supporting Organizer of this event. As Guest Speakers, FIAJ President & LCC Chair Ohashi and FIAJ Vice President & Operations Committee Chair Yanagisawa will discuss Japan's derivatives market, covering both trading and legal regulations.
