Futures Industry Association Japan (FIA Japan) hereby declares its basic policy against Anti-Social Forces ("ASF") as follows.



Coping with ASF

FIA Japan will implement appropriate measures as an organization along with our Executive Committee.

Cutting off all business with ASF

FIA Japan will confront ASF that threaten our society's social order and safety with absolute resolution. We will not have any relationship including any business partnership with ASF.


Cooperating with Outside Professional Organizations

In order to eliminate ASF activity, FIA Japan will establish a collaborative relationship and maintain close communication with outside professional organizations, including the police, lawyers, along with the ASF Elimination Center.


Legal procedures to counteract civil and criminal ASF activity

FIA Japan will decisively reject any unreasonable demands from ASF with absolute fortitude. FIA Japan will take whatever necessary civil and criminal legal action to respond to these demands.


Restriction of under-the-table deals and fund provision

FIA Japan will not negotiate any under-the-table deals or provide funds to ASF to resolve any kind of issue.





















Basic Policy


1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

When handling personal information (in accordance with the definition set forth in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of May 30, 2003); the same shall apply hereinafter), our Corporation shall comply with the laws and regulations of Japan and the guidelines and other regulations established by administrative organs. In addition, we will continuously review and improve this Privacy Policy in light of revisions to related laws and regulations.


2. Personal Information Protection System

Our Corporation will establish internal rules and regulations necessary for each service with respect to the handling and storage of personal information, establish an organizational structure, and establish a system to protect personal information.


3. Acquisition of Personal Information

When obtaining personal information from a member, our Corporation shall obtain such information by fair and lawful means to the extent necessary for achieving the purpose after obtaining consent by specifically publicizing, notifying, or expressing the purpose of use. Members' consent may be withdrawn at any time.


4. Use of Personal Information

Our Corporation shall use the personal information of its members only within the scope of the purpose of use set forth in the preceding paragraph and shall not use such information beyond the scope of such purpose.


5. Safety Measures, etc.

Our Corporation shall implement safety measures for the management of personal information and take preventive measures against unauthorized access, loss, damage, falsification, leakage, and other data infringement (hereinafter referred to as "Leakage, Etc."). In addition, we will endeavor to keep personal information accurate and up to date to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use.


6. In-house Education

Our Corporation will provide employees with appropriate education and training on the protection of personal information and ensure that the contents thereof are communicated throughout our Corporation.


7. Supervision, etc. of Entrusted Business Operators

When outsourcing all or part of the handling of personal information to an outsourcee within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purpose of use, our Corporation shall select a person with sufficient experience and capacity, stipulate the matters concerning confidentiality obligations in the contract, and supervise such outsourcee in order to ensure that personal information is properly managed.


8. Improvement of Management System, Etc.

Our Corporation will regularly check whether personal information is properly managed and continuously implement improvement measures.


9. Measures to Be Taken in the Event of an Accident

In the event of an accident caused by a Leak, Etc., our Corporation shall strive to minimize the damage, promptly disclose the necessary information, and take appropriate measures including measures to prevent a recurrence.


10. Clarification of Consultation Desks

Our Corporation shall establish a clear contact point for responding to inquiries, complaints, and requests from members and respond promptly.



Handling Personal Information


Our Corporation shall handle personal information received from members as follows:


1. Control of Personal Information

Our Corporation recognizes the importance of the personal information provided by members, and will pay close attention to and strictly manage the handling of such information.


2. Intended Use of Personal Information

When obtaining personal information, our Corporation shall clearly specify the purpose of use and publicly announce or notify customers of the purpose of use.


3. Provision to a Third Party

Our Corporation will not provide or disclose any personal information provided to any third party except in any of the following cases. When providing information to a third party, we will also follow the procedures stipulated in the relevant laws and regulations, such as the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

  1. In the event of joint use (kyoudou riyou) with a third party.

  2. Where personal information is disclosed to a third party after a prior agreement has been concluded with the outsourcee to prevent the use of such personal information for purposes other than the entrusted business of our Corporation.

  3. When the prior consent of the member has been obtained.

  4. When requested by law.


4. Inquiries, Etc. Concerning Personal Information

Any inquiry, complaint, or request for disclosure, correction, deletion, addition, suspension of use, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "Disclosure, Etc.") of personal information from a member shall be dealt with promptly to the extent reasonable by contacting the inquiry contact.
