2024年の初開催の成功を受け、2回目となる「FIAフォーラム：東京2026、FIAジャパンと共催」が9月10日、東証ホールで開催された。取引所取引およびCCPデリバティブの業界専門家が一堂に会し、230名超（うち約3分の1は海外から）の参加者を迎えた。
FIA アジア太平洋地域統括の Bill Herder 氏による開会に続き、FIAジャパン会長 Richard "Chip" Clairmont の歓迎の挨拶、大阪取引所 代表取締役社長兼CEO の Akira Tagaya 氏による開会の挨拶が行われた。FIA プレジデント兼CEO の Walt Lukken 氏は本フォーラムのために来日し、東京商品取引所 社長の Takashi Ishizaki 氏とファイヤーサイド・チャット（対談）を行った。活況を呈する電力先物市場を含め、日本におけるエネルギーデリバティブの現状について議論した。
午後は、市場の第一線で活躍する実務家によるパネルディスカッションを2本行った。
1本目は、FIAジャパン テクノロジー委員会委員長の Joshpreet Tiwana 氏（Citadel Securities）がモデレーターを務め、「テクノロジーとイノベーションで拓く日本のデリバティブ市場」と題して、金融市場における技術革新と、かつてない速さで進むその変化に各社がどう追随しているかを議論した。
2本目は、FIAジャパン バイスプレジデント兼オペレーション委員会委員長の Shun Yanagisawa（シティグループ証券）がモデレーターを務めた。「進化する日本のデリバティブ市場」と題し、変化する市場環境がもたらす機会と課題、そして強靭で効率的な市場を保ちながら成長を支えるために業界に何ができるかに焦点を当てた。
続くネットワーキング・レセプションでは、金融庁長官 Yutaka Ito 氏より参加者へご挨拶を賜った。参加者は和やかな雰囲気の中、日本食のビュッフェを囲み、新しい顔ぶれとのネットワーク作りや、なじみの顔ぶれとの再会を楽しんだ。

Following the success of the first Forum in Tokyo in 2024, the second "FIA Forum – Tokyo 2026, Co-Organized with FIA Japan" was held at the TSE Hall on September 10. It brought together industry experts in the exchange-traded and centrally cleared derivatives markets, with 230+ participants, a third of them from overseas.
After Mr. Bill Herder, FIA Head of Asia-Pacific, opened the event, this year's forum began with Welcome Remarks from FIA Japan Chairman Richard "Chip" Clairmont, followed by Opening Remarks from Mr. Akira Tagaya, President & CEO of Osaka Exchange. FIA President & CEO Walt Lukken flew in to hold a fireside chat with Mr. Takashi Ishizaki, President of Tokyo Commodity Exchange, discussing the energy derivatives landscape in Japan, including the booming electricity futures market.
Later in the afternoon, there were two panel discussions featuring leading market practitioners.
The first one, moderated by FIA Japan Technology Committee Chair Joshpreet Tiwana (Citadel Securities), was titled "Powering Japan's Derivatives Markets Through Technology and Innovation". The panel discussed technological innovation in the financial markets and how firms are having to keep pace with these advancements at an unprecedented rate.
The second and last panel of the day was moderated by FIA Japan Vice President and Operations Committee Chair Shun Yanagisawa (Citigroup). Titled "Japan's Evolving Derivatives Market", it focused on the opportunities and challenges of a shifting market environment, and how the industry can support continued growth while maintaining resilient and efficient markets.
During the Networking Reception that followed, we were honored to have Mr. Yutaka Ito, Commissioner of the Financial Services Agency, deliver Welcome Remarks to the attendees.
