Established in 2006, Japannext Co., Ltd. was founded to operate a Proprietary Trading System (PTS). Since obtaining its license under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act in 2007, the company has focused its business on PTS operations as its core pillar.
While the platform initially launched with night-time sessions, it expanded to daytime trading in 2008. Today, it provides up to 21 hours of trading covering both daytime and nighttime, and has grown into Japan's largest and longest-operating PTS, hosting 35 major domestic and global securities firms.
Beyond its core PTS operations, Japannext provides a suite of solutions that supports financial infrastructure services, including colocation, real-time market data feeds, system infrastructure development, operations and monitoring.
