The Finance Committee is drawn from the membership and consists of:
i. A Chairperson
ii. The Treasurer
iii. Any additional members nominated and approved by the board.
Nominations may be made by any member of FIA Japan.
The principal purpose of the finance committee shall be to provide monitoring and oversight of all financial activities of the Association. This shall include review of all accounts, balance sheets and financial transactions. The Finance Committee shall not be responsible for monthly reporting, but will provide an annual report to be presented at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
In addition, the finance committee shall:
support the development the budget for the Association
review, recommend and monitor adherence for any relevant financial policies and procedures approved by the Board
provide any other necessary support or insights as requested by the board or the Executive Committee
Approve spending and/or invoices where required by the relevant policies
The finance committee shall meet as and when required and shall report such meetings to the Board.
