2. アンケートテンプレート

委員がポストトレード業務に関するアンケートを作成しました（添付ファイルを参照）。このアンケートは、より広範な対象者（すなわち、FIAJオペレーション委員会メンバーの取引相手先）に対して個別に配布する予定です。6月末までに回答を収集する予定です。

  • (ア) JSDAや信託銀行協会などの業界団体を含める
  • (イ) アセットマネジメント・フォーラムで企業にアプローチする際はアンケートを活用
    • ① アセットマネージャーとZoomセッションを開催し、ホワイトペーパーの内容について説明することを検討

3. ホワイトペーパーへのフィードバック

これまでに、3社（グローバル系2社、日本系1社の資産運用会社）から 委員宛てにコメントが寄せられています（添付資料参照）。

  • (ア) すべての企業から、FIAJの取り組みに対し感謝の意が示
  • (イ) 先物・オプションのマッチングについては、単一のロジック／システムを構築することを目指すべき
    • ① 本委員会が以前、NRI、オストトラ、ブロードリッジ各社によるプレゼンテーションを交えたシステムに関する会合を開催したことが指摘

4. 平均価格の標準化に関する最新情報

委員は、海外・国内のブローカー、およびベンダーからのコメントを踏まえ、プレゼンテーションを更新し、共有しました。（添付資料のP10以降を参照）

    • ② 金額方式は、JSCCが定めた要件に従うため、野村証券のみが採用している
      1. JSCCは必要に応じてこの要件を改正することができる
    • ③ 調査対象をブラックロック、ベンダーB社、DREなどの企業にも拡大すべきである
    • ④ 委員会の目的は、JSDAが支持する単一の基準を提案することであり、これにより、今後「外部」の企業に対しても同様の基準を採用するよう説得しやすくなる。

5. 今後の対応

  • (ア) オペレーション委員会の全委員およびFIAジャパン事務所は、より多くの意見を募るため、それぞれの連絡先に本アンケートを共有・周知すること
  • (イ) 回答締切を6月末とする
  • (ウ) 次回会議の日程は5月26日（火）11:30を予定

1. FIA

The White Paper was sent to a contact and their team. No comments have been received to date. Tony will follow up.

2. Questionnaire Template

A committee member prepared a questionnaire on post-trade operations (see attachment). The questionnaire is to be distributed individually to a broader audience — that is, to the counterparties of FIAJ Operations Committee members. Responses are to be collected by the end of June.

  • (a) Include industry associations such as the JSDA and the Trust Companies Association of Japan
  • (b) Use the questionnaire when approaching firms at the asset management forum
    • (i) Consider holding a Zoom session with asset managers to explain the content of the White Paper

3. Feedback on the White Paper

To date, comments have been received from three firms (two global and one Japanese asset management company), addressed to the committee member (see attached materials).

  • (a) All firms expressed appreciation for FIAJ's initiative
  • (b) For futures and options matching, the goal should be to build a single logic / system
    • (i) It was noted that this committee previously held a meeting on systems that included presentations by NRI, Osttra, and Broadridge

4. Update on Standardization of Average Price

The committee member updated and shared the presentation, reflecting comments from foreign and domestic brokers and from vendors (see page 10 onward of the attached materials).

  • (a) At present, three principal formulas are used to calculate average price:
    • (i) A formula based on the JSDA guidelines
    • (ii) A formula based on realized P&L, further divided into the following two categories:
      1. Amount method: rounded down below one yen at the final step
      2. Unit price method: adopted by vendors and aligned with global standards
        • (a) Is this the most suitable standard to adopt in Japan?
    • (iii) A formula based on unrealized P&L, further divided into the following two categories:
      1. Amount method
      2. Unit price method: adopted by all firms surveyed
  • (b) Comments from committee members / points of discussion:
    • (i) The unit price method may be preferred by brokers and vendors, but is not necessarily preferable for end clients
    • (ii) The amount method is adopted only by Nomura Securities, in order to comply with requirements set by JSCC
      1. JSCC is able to amend these requirements as necessary
    • (iii) The scope of the survey should be expanded to include firms such as BlackRock, Vendor B, and DRE
    • (iv) The committee's objective is to propose a single standard endorsed by the JSDA, which will make it easier to persuade "external" firms to adopt the same standard going forward.

5. Next Steps

  • (a) All members of the Operations Committee and the FIA Japan office are to share and publicize this questionnaire among their respective contacts in order to solicit further input
  • (b) The response deadline is set at the end of June
  • (c) The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, at 11:30
